Description Pierre Lemaire 2008-05-14 21:25:25 UTC
Please describe the problem:
It happens in the function selector dialog: in the "description" area (bottom), the complete description is not translated.

Steps to reproduce:
1. run gnumeric with a locale other than english
2. insert a function to open the function selector dialog

Actual results:
The description is not translated (even if a translation does exist in the .po/.mo file).

Expected results:
The description should be translated

Does this happen every time?
yes

Other information:
a simple change (translation="yes") in the function-select.glade file may fixe it -- but I am not used to such files.
Comment 1 Jean Bréfort 2008-05-15 04:49:57 UTC
The function descriptions are translated in a separate po file in the po-functions directory of our source tree. No need to change the glade file.

Patch

This should fix it, at least as far as old-style help texts are concerned.

(The assignment to ->help_is_localized is pointless since no-one ever
reads it.)

This problem has been fixed in our software repository. The fix will go into the next software release. Thank you for your bug report.
