Description Götz Waschk 2008-05-09 14:07:19 UTC
The upgrade of gst-plugins-base to 0.10.8 broke rhythmbox, banshee-1 and others. When I press the play button in rhythmbox, nothing happens, the playback counter doesn't move. banshee-1 prints this: "[Error 15:57:34.351] GStreamer stream error: Failed". Downgrading to 0.10.7 makes it work again.

This is on Mandriva Cooker i586. With the latest gstreamer releases.

Could you attach a gzipped GST_DEBUG=*:5 log please?
Comment 2 Götz Waschk 2008-05-09 14:51:54 UTC
No, it is too big (6.1M). The output of GST_DEBUG=*:5 rhythmbox is here:

Comment 3 Tim-Philipp Müller 2008-05-09 16:01:47 UTC
gstgconfaudiosink.c:161:do_change_child:<gconfaudiosink0> new gconf string: goom
gstgconfaudiosink.c:173:do_change_child:<gconfaudiosink0> GConf key changed: '(NULL)' to 'goom'

So basically a duplicate of #532295.
