Hi. I'm not sure I understand you... How can you go from step 2 to 3? Once you're in fullscreen mode?
From http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=465606 "Vinagre provides Ctrl+Alt as an option to grab the cursor of guest machine. However, vinagre automatically grab guest's cursor by default. The only difference between grab and not grab is while in grab mode, the host's cursor becomes invisible." From http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=482564 "When the remote screen is larger than the vinagre window, there are scrollbars. Now, when I use the mouse scroll wheel, vinagre scrolls its view as well as passes the events through to the remote application. (I'd prefer to only pass the events to the remote application.)"
Emilio, the first bug you quoted is bug 530410. The second one is bug 531969. About this bug, I'm marking it as NEEDINFO.
