Description Norbert Lange 2008-04-30 00:33:33 UTC
Im using Rhythmbox 11.5 on Ubuntu 8.04 and I found out that PSP-Support is basically nonworking as Rhythmbox doesnt work within the restrictions of the directory layout.

Reference: http://manuals.playstation.net/document/en/psp/current/music/mscopy.html

What happens now if I copy a track to the PSP inside Rhythmbox is that it creates a file <mountpoint>/MUSIC/PSP/MUSIC/<author>/<album>/<trackname>, which is 3 directory-layers deeper than supported.

All Music should go into <mountpoint>/MUSIC, either directly or within a directory (without further subdirectories).

Further, it doesnt support .pls Playlists, only .m3u.
