GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 530402
[mark-all-read] strange dialog window layout
Last modified: 2008-08-07 13:02:38 UTC
The MarkAllRead dialog which pops up when you select "mark all as read" on a folder which contaisn subfolders looks bad, see screenshot.
Created attachment 110052 [details] Screenshot - should not have a window title - should use the space that is currently not being used - perhaps rephrase and simplify the text and add a checkbox for "[x] Include subfolders" [Continue] or something (current button labels are HUGE)
Created attachment 115633 [details] Revised Screenshot Did some work on this in bug #514383 to add a Cancel button. Here's what the dialog looks like now. Window title still needs removed. Are the buttons acceptable now?
Wording could still use some improvement. How about: Also mark messages in subfolders? Do you want to mark messages as read in the current folder only, or in the current folder as well as all subfolders? [Cancel] [Current Folder and Subfolders] [Current Folder Only]
That looks fine. Maybe you should remove the window title (HIG).
Created attachment 116059 [details] Revised Wording Screenshot Committed wording improvement and window title removal (revision 35923). Please reopen if you still see something wrong. Will announce string change.
