Description Vinicius Depizzol 2008-04-26 11:57:53 UTC
When a new document is going to be saved, Gedit comes as default with "Unsaved Document 1" in the Name field. While it's true at the moment, a saved file with this default name looks a bit strange. Something like "Untitled Document" or just "Document" might works both before and after saving.

Thank you :)

This patch replaces "Unsaved Document" to "Untitled Document"

I personally felt that it makes sense to have the default document name as "Untitled Document" as compared to "Unsaved Document" which loses its meaning when saved. There fore i'm submitting the patch for this. and this is my first patch for any package.

This has been changed and discussed multiple times in the past with the HIG people... I'll stick to what we have now.
