Description Sam Morris 2008-04-26 11:39:34 UTC
In GNOME 2.20, when a user inserted a blank CD, they were asked whether they wanted to create a data disc or an audio disc. With nautilus 2.22, they are not given the option; they can only create data discs.

Okay, I just happend on this bug right now. I cannot believe that this feature was not included...blows my mind! When trying to burn audio files just happily assumes you want them burnt as files. I'm pissed beyond belief!

Please mark this as urgent and have it fixed by next minor release.
Comment 2 Cosimo Cecchi 2010-12-18 18:56:30 UTC
With recent GNOME versions, nautilus-cd-burner has been replaced by the full-featured Brasero application, which installs an entry in the autorun dialog.
From there you will be able to choose whether burning a data disc or an audio one.

Closing this as OBSOLETE.
