bad translation "Frase de paso" in Seahorse
Last modified: 2008-04-28 21:02:13 UTC
Incorrect translation Application: seahorse Incorrect text: when create a ssh key (for example) and i need to enter a password show this message: "Introduzca una frase de paso". Should be: i suggest: "Introduzca una contraseña contraseña"
ohhh write error, i suggest only "Introduzca una contraseña"
No, you need a "passphrase" which is slightly different, usually longer, than a simple "password", besides both strings are different at the po file and their meaning is, as well, different.
I think, a better translation must be "Ingrese la frase secreta".
Besides that we don't use "Ingresar" but "Introducir", that we try to keep the translation as accurate as we can, «Frase de paso» is very widely used and accepted: http://www.google.es/search?source=ig&hl=es&rlz=&q=%22frase%20de%20paso%22&btnG=Buscar+con+Google
"frase secreta" sounds good to me, what do you think? And also, why do we have to write all this in English :p?
"frase secreta" sounds good for mee too
