Description Michael Meeks 2008-04-24 16:00:54 UTC
When the calendar fails to talk to groupwise (which it likes to do repeatedly for no apparent reason), it throws up a nice dialog:

"Error on groupwise://mmeeks@prv1-3.novell.com/:
 No response from the server"

then another etc. ;-) this is all well & good, but these are apparently application modal - meaning I can switch to my mailer window, which these dialogs are not 'transient for', and be oblivious to the dialogs causing the non-functioning.

I guess since there is no per-top-level modality in gtk+ (?) it would be great to cleanup those warnings, and preferably make them non-modal ;-)

I see similar dialog in evolution-mapi 0.30.0 as well.
Comment 2 André Klapper 2013-07-23 14:40:04 UTC
evolution-groupwise provides connectivity to Novell Groupwise servers. The last stable release of evolution-groupwise was 3.4.2 which took place a year ago.

evolution-groupwise is not under active development anymore.

It is currently unlikely that there will be any further active development.

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping.

Please feel free to reopen this bug report in the future if anyone takes the responsibility for active development again.
