When evince renders the attached PDF file the one-way arrows on a number of the roads are not rendered correctly along the roads but are instead duplicated a number of times alongside the roads.

Both acroread and xpdf appear to render this correctly.

It's a poppler issue. I've just forwarded it to the freedesktop bugzilla:
