Description Sam Morris 2008-04-19 18:24:55 UTC
When I insert a data disc, Nautilus opens two windows showing the mount
point.

When I press the eject button, the disc is ejected, but I also get an
error message saying "Cannot eject the volume 'foo'".

forwarded from <http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=473808>. Would like clarification about whether Nautilus or g-v-m should be handling these events, since it appears that currently, both do so.
Comment 1 Sam Morris 2008-04-26 11:19:08 UTC
g-v-m 2.22.3 still tries to handle eject events and so does Nautilus.
Comment 2 Sam Morris 2008-04-26 15:08:32 UTC
There is a patch at http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=509823#c23 to prevent g-v-m from handling eject events.

fixed in 2.22.5
