Description Mildred 2008-04-14 22:47:26 UTC
Icons in GtkIconView cannot be positioned freely. icons are forced to be kept in a grid.

As I'm not satisfied by Nautilus because of bug #502731, I was trying to create an alternative filemanager that would solve that problem using Gtk+. but that doesn't seems possible. It seems I'll have to find another graphical toolkit :(

We're moving to gitlab! As part of this move, we are closing bugs that haven't seen activity in more than 5 years. If this issue is still imporant to you and
still relevant with GTK+ 3.22 or master, please consider creating a gitlab issue
for it.
