Description Darren 2008-04-12 08:33:51 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Everytime I insert a Dual Layer DVD+R to be burned to, add files to it and pick the correct description (7.9GB (Dual Layer) as it is the only one available that dealw ith Dual Layer). Brasero just says that "the medium is not writable with the current set of plugins"

Steps to reproduce:
1. choose files
2. choose correct DVD description from CD/DVD icon (7.9GB (DVD-R Dual Layer)
3. hit burn

Actual results:
the properties screen is presented with EVERYTHIG greayed out and the message "the medium is not writable with the current set of plugins" next to the DVD properties

Expected results:
the data to be burned to DVD

Does this happen every time?
Yes

Other information:
if Brasero only recognises -R media then this is unacceptable, as the majority of media available in my area to purchse is +R/+RW

Thanks for the report. It has been brought to our attention that DL support was broken (and indeed it is). Unfortunately the fixes will be in 0.8 version not 0.7.
