GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 523680
If too many timezone are configured, lower ones are cut off the screen with no way to see them
Last modified: 2020-11-06 20:23:24 UTC
Please describe the problem: I have configured 7 timezones in my international clock applet, and this works fine when I am using an external monitor with a vertical resolution of 1050. However, on my regular laptop screen (with a vertical resolution of 800), the lowest items are cut off. There is no way to scroll down or pan down to see them. Steps to reproduce: 1. Add entries to international clock 2. Repeat until there are too many to fit vertically on your screen Actual results: As above, there is no way to scroll down or pan down to see the lower items. Expected results: There should be an option to scroll down or pan down to see the lower items. Does this happen every time? Yes Other information:

If this were to be fixed, it would be nice if the location section of the clock, listing all the cities, were vertically resizable with a small grab bar at the bottom. Also, at the top and bottom of the list of cities could be small scroll bars areas, like in the bookmarks menu of mozilla firefox, which activate when the mouse is passed over them.
