GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 523373
background zoom should be centered
Last modified: 2008-05-05 15:07:24 UTC
The bug has been described on https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/197357 "When applying the style option "zoom" the background gets zoomed from the left top or bottom edge (don't know which one, does not matter anyways). Generally, a picture should be zoomed from its center. (if required there, should be another option, for zooming against a user defined point) I got around that the option *center* uses aswell the left top edge as center and not the actual center which it should."
Not reproducible here (all 2.22.0). Does it happen in the background, the background thumbnail, or both? Is nautilus managing the background, or g-s-d? Exact versions of nautilus, g-s-d, and gnome-desktop involved?
the background and the thumbnails are wrong, using nautilus or g-s-d to displays the image makes no difference, GNOME 2.22.1 is used
seems to be rather a gnome-desktop issue
