Description Pedro Villavicencio 2008-03-17 11:47:13 UTC
This report has been filed here:

https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-nettool/+bug/203046

"The ping tool has two options:

   (i) do at most N ping requests, or
(ii) do an unlimited number of ping requests

But, when selecting the second option, only 999 ping requests are done at most, not an unlimited number."

Thanks,

In fact, it is hardcoded in the code.

Until now, nobody complained before :-)

Hi,
any forecast about the solution of the "999 ping" bug ?

Thanks,

I will try to close all gnome-nettool bugs during the current cycle
(2.26). Obviously, this can be applied to the current stable branch
also.

Patches are welcomed :-)
