Description Wim Taymans 2008-03-10 17:34:09 UTC
Request to move rtpmanager from -bad to -good.
Comment 1 Tim-Philipp Müller 2008-04-11 19:39:21 UTC
This isn't quite ready yet from what I gathered from Wim's comments on IRC (needs proper code review, forgot what/if anything else).
Comment 2 Jan Schmidt 2008-04-12 23:54:21 UTC
Can we get a list of 'what else' it needs?
Comment 3 Wim Taymans 2008-04-13 22:35:49 UTC
- code review
- I want people to commit to the final API

I'm not quite happy with the implementation yet but the API seems to be sufficient for the current users.
Comment 4 Tim-Philipp Müller 2008-04-15 11:12:25 UTC
Removing blocker status then.
Comment 5 Olivier Crête 2008-08-05 14:11:11 UTC
From my point of view (as a user), I'm pretty happy with it. If Wim thinks its ready, then I'l all in favor of moving it.
Comment 6 Laurent Glayal 2009-02-03 10:24:44 UTC
rtpmanager does not fully release pads, we use it with 500 simultaneous RTP streams from different kind of rtp implementations ( softphones, embedded software/proprietary hardware,..etc ), IMHO rtpmanager should not be moved to -good till releasing all pads are properly implemented.
Comment 7 Jan Schmidt 2009-02-06 15:03:27 UTC
No comment from Wim... I guess this won't happen this release then.
Comment 8 Wim Taymans 2009-02-06 17:33:52 UTC
It's not ready yet.
Comment 9 Jan Schmidt 2009-02-07 11:02:06 UTC
OK, cool - thanks for clarifying :)

Comment 11 Tim-Philipp Müller 2009-08-01 19:43:33 UTC
Wim: you did some API hacking a while back - is it ready to move now API-wise, or is there still work left to be done?
Comment 12 Wim Taymans 2009-08-10 09:01:14 UTC
I'm happy with it, let's move it.
Comment 13 Tim-Philipp Müller 2009-08-11 08:36:04 UTC
Done.
