Description Robbert Broersma 2008-03-07 17:21:15 UTC
Bugs are already filed for WebKit and PHP for some time:
http://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14101
http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=41248

Lack of this feature actually is blocking for our application (Xopus) to work in Safari. Is there someone who could have a look at this, I would _really_ appreciate it.
Comment 1 Charles Fulnecky 2009-10-29 14:19:58 UTC
This feature is required to run our web app on Safari Desktop and Mobile Safari.
Comment 2 Paul Lindquist 2010-01-28 17:03:27 UTC
Adding this feature would allow the application at: http://fiatools.fs.fed.us/fido/ to work in Safari also.
Comment 3 Charles Fulnecky 2010-03-26 12:54:34 UTC
The passing of nodes as parameter values is fully supported in the latest
versions of:
Internet Explorer
Firefox
Opera
Comment 4 Asaf Mesika 2011-07-26 14:22:27 UTC
Same here. Waiting for this fix.
Comment 5 GNOME Infrastructure Team 2021-07-05 11:00:53 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/libxslt/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
