Go to:
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/sciencenow/video/3204/q01.html
and see that no file is played.

It's trying to play:
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/sciencenow/video/nsn-wrap-new.mov

Which seems to be a QuickTime file with a Flash file embedded.

I can confirm this with gstreamer0.10-plugins-good 0.10.23-2~ppa10.04+2

Still does not work but qtdemux claims that this file contains GIF, plaintext and QuickDraw:

ffmpeg has a quickdraw decoder but it doesn't handle this specific stream:

The same happens with mplayer, so let's close this as NOTGNOME. Would be nice if someone could report this against ffmpeg :)
