Description Alex Ruddick 2008-02-19 00:08:16 UTC
Bringing upsteam from Ubuntu tracker.
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/192995

"Binary package hint: gnome-control-center

There is an option under "Mouse Keys" in the Keyboard Preferences utility that reads "Allow to control the pointer using the keyboard".

I feel that this should be rewritten to read "Allow control of the pointer using the keyboard".

I'm running Hardy (Alpha 4)."
Comment 1 Jens Granseuer 2008-02-19 18:31:50 UTC
I think I'd prefer "Allow controlling the pointer with the keyboard", but in any case, I'm not sure it's grave enough to break string freeze. If anyone gets the ok from the translators' and i18n teams, though, ....
Comment 2 Thomas Wood 2008-02-19 23:12:51 UTC
Also, under "Accessibility" tab:

"Allow to turn accessibility features on and off from the keyboard"

should be something like:

"Toggle accessibility features using the keyboard"

I also don't think the word "allow" is necessary in a checkbox label.

I'm going to dupe this one to a newer bug, since that one lists a few additional issues.
