Description Maia Everett 2008-02-18 11:12:11 UTC
Please describe the problem:
In version 0.4.2, automatic color correction does not work for any photos, instead producing an error message box.

It worked in 0.4.0 and 0.4.1.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Run F-Spot 0.4.2.
2. Enter editing mode for a single photo.
3. Click "Automatically adjust the colors".

Actual results:
An error message pops up: 'Error editing photo: Received exception "libfspot".' No console output.

Expected results:
The colors are adjusted like in 0.4.1.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

fixing the dll build

thx for this bug report.

I committed the patch to trunk, branched 0.4.2 to branches/FSPOT_0_4_2_STABLE and applied the patch there too.

the patch is also attached to this bug for the record...

Thanks! I'll work on getting this patch into Ubuntu and Debian as well.

Patch confirmed to work on my machine. Thanks again!

Confirmed here too. This also seems to fix the color adjust dialog not working properly. I have just committed f-spot-0.4.2 to Gentoo with this fix.

Denis.
