GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 516830
cross-references are not symmetric
Last modified: 2021-06-02 09:23:05 UTC
Reported at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gucharmap/+bug/189219 Steps to reproduce: 1. Select the Common character set. 2. Select the space character. 3. Select the Details tab. 4. Follow the link to zero-width space. Expected result: The Details tab for zero-width space should contain a reference to space. ... That does not mean the bug is invalid, it only means the Unicode Standard is at fault ("report upstream"). What do you think? It is hopeless to try to contact Unicode Consortium as an individual. The best way this could be handled is to make sure the cross-references are symmetric while the descriptions are extracted during building.
