GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 516820
Hover mouse over photo to get list of tags in icon view
Last modified: 2018-07-12 00:08:51 UTC
There currently seems to be no easy way of seeing which tags are associated with a photo - the tag icon list under the photo is very difficult to interpret. My suggestion is that hovering the mouse over a photo (or perhaps over the tag list under the photo) should display a pop-up containing all the tags defined on the photo. The pop would disappear when the mouse moved elsewhere. Thanks - F-spot is great!

Ah yes - but this only seems to work when the photo is "maximized". It would be much more useful on the search results display, where you could mouse over lots of photos, and see which ones have the (in)correct tags. Unless this has been added recently - I'm using Ubuntu's packages 0.4.0.
I am also looking for this kind of display. Hope it could come soon. Also, already affected tag could be grayed when you try to add a new one in order no to add 2 times the same tag.
