GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 515328
There is NO documentation
Last modified: 2013-07-25 15:51:16 UTC
Documentation Section: Currently, the contents of Conduit Manual only has two sections: "Introduction" and "How to use the GUI" Correct version: I think that Conduit's docs should be as complete and clear as possible; even though the GUI it's pretty simple, there are many things that don't seem so obvious (to me, at least). For instance, what's the difference between sinchronizing folder and sinchronizing files, what's "Network" sync, or a simple description of the configuration options for each item. If you could include a more complete documentation (with more images, examples, tips, etc.), I'm sure more people would use Conduit and would be able to fully realize of its great potential. Other information:
Confirmed, I am however, just one man. Documentation patches would be accepted and rewarded with great love and beer.
Current documentation is on going at http://live.gnome.org/Conduit/Documentation Within a week this should be compiled into a help file included with conduit.
This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
(In reply to comment #2) > Current documentation is on going at > http://live.gnome.org/Conduit/Documentation > > Within a week this should be compiled into a help file included with conduit. http://live.gnome.org/Conduit/Documentation (redirects to https://wiki.gnome.org/Conduit/Documentation) is dead. A help file included with conduit would be very nice to have! For Linux Mint 13 Maya it still references http://www.conduit-project.org where you can buy some tickets, but don't get help for conduit.
