Problem with Syntek webcam

After having problems with Cheese, I filed bug #510648 but developers suggested that the bug I opened might be a GStreamer related one... http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=510648
Could you run this on a command line (exactly this): $ export GST_DEBUG_NO_COLOR=1 $ GST_DEBUG=*v4l*:5 gst-launch-0.10 v4lsrc ! ffmpegcolorspace ! ximagesink 2>dbg.log $ gzip dbg.log and attach the dbg.log.gz file this creates? (you might also want to try v4l2src instead of v4lsrc if available).

Could you try the exact commands in comment #1 again (v4lsrc only)? It looks like there was a typo in your GST_DEBUG statement, or you used '>' instead of '2>' to redirect the output, but the file you attached doesn't contain any debugging information.

Do you need any more info? I sent only the v4lsrc log, I can send also the v4l2src log, I'm waiting for your reply... I don't want to be annoying but I just wondering if there are any news...
After upgrading to cheese 2.22.1 and gstreamer 0.10.19, finally cheese works with the webcam and doesn't crash anymore. There are some glitches, it's a bit choppy and psychedelic effect doesn't work at all...
