Please describe the problem:
As above.

Using any drawing tool choose to the smallest brush from the standard set and zoom in. Observe how brush preview size is actually 3x3.

I've played with the workaround and found that it makes most sense to only apply it for large brushes:

	changed workaround to look at the brush size instead (bug #514309).
