This report has been filled here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/188105 "I moved a lot of big files from my ext3 disk to my NTFS disk (read 3-6 4GB files). At the same time I was renaming 10-15 files on my NTSF USB drive. Suddenly it stopped to move the files (at around 80%) and then it crashed." ".

I just have to say... this kind of sucks... I reported this on Launchpad but here on Gnome it looks like it's Pedro Villavicencio who's the reporter of the bug? I guess he gets points for it as well? So I should create bugs upstream first and then on launchpad? I realise this is sort of a non-issue but since it it seems like some developers doesn't listen to people with to little points I want every bug I report to count...
Mårten, it's obvious that Pedro forwards bug reports from downstream to upstream. it is CLEARLY said in the first line of the report. We appreciate that Ubuntu bug reports are first submitted downstream and *if* they are GNOME issues and not downstream-only bugs, they get forwarded upstream. Please continue to create bug reports on Launchpad only. Thanks.
This bug was reported against a version which is not supported any more. Developers are no longer working on this version so there will not be any bug fixes for it. Can you please check again if the issue you reported here still happens in a recent version of GNOME and update this report by adding a comment and adjusting the 'Version' field? Again thank you for reporting this and sorry that it could not be fixed for the version you originally used here. Without feedback this report will be closed as INCOMPLETE after 6 weeks.
