Description Jonathan Ernst 2008-01-29 08:45:16 UTC
I am subscribed to some IMAP folders where I only have read only access.

Evolution keeps showing an error at the bottom of the screen (I guess it wants to mark some mail as junk or spam or whatever) which is annoying.

(evolution:6896): evolution-mail-WARNING **: Error occurred while existing dialogue active:
IMAP command failed: Permission denied

You can see it on the attached screenshot.

You can also see that there is a bug in the message which shows "'" instead of "'"

This part is fixed in 2.21.90

Bumping version to a stable release.
Comment 4 Akhil Laddha 2009-09-01 12:12:47 UTC
This version is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any
further security or bug fix updates.
The current stable GNOME and Evolution version is 2.26.

Can you please check again whether this issue still happens in Evolution 2.24
or 2.26 and update this report by adding a comment and changing the "Version"
field? Thanks a lot.

Again thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed
for the version you originally used here.

Without feedback this report will be closed as INCOMPLETE in 6 weeks.

The error doesn't seem to be shown anymore, thanks. (But Evolution keeps on trying to filter mails in the readyonly subfolders, but that's another bug I guess).
