Description Debarshi Ray 2008-01-24 03:34:52 UTC
Documentation
Section: COPYING and license notices in sources.
The COPYING file in the SVN head says:

"GnomeHello is Copyright (C) 1999 Havoc Pennington. The program is
released to you under two licenses, at your option; the first is
similar to that of the X Window System, the second is the GNU General
Public License."

What is GnomeHello?

Looking at the source code, it looks like gnome-build is only under
GPLv2 and later, and can not find references to the other license
anywhere except the COPYING file.

Correct version:
It should clarify what is GnomeHello.

The license notices in the source file should reflect those licenses which are mentioned in COPYING.

Other information:
This is relevant to packaging gnome-build for Fedora.

Mail Havoc, maybe he can help us!
Comment 2 Havoc Pennington 2008-02-05 23:39:29 UTC
GnomeHello was an example GNOME app. I don't think it had anything to do with gnome-build so this must be cut-and-paste error.

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
