GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 510103
Give conduits a name
Last modified: 2018-07-11 23:19:13 UTC
When the user right clicks on a synchronization group there should be the ability to give that group a name. The name can then be displayed on the canvas and stored in the settings.xml (this bug was imported from trac)
This feature would be great. Today there is no chance to see on the canvass-view which files, folders are configured. A group name would be a good solution
I've recently found your program as I was looking for something tho synchronise my fiels on my laptop with my external HDD and Unison was too unstable. I am setting up all the replications now, but a feature that would be really helpful for a future release would be the ability to give your links names so at a glance it is easy to see which is which and thus easier to select without having to go into the configuration each time.
I think this would be a really useful feature to have. Even if the title was a combination of the data providers.
Conduit is not under active development anymore, has not seen code changes for eight years, and saw its last tarball release in 2010. Its codebase has been archived: https://gitlab.gnome.org/Archive/conduit/commits/master Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is deprecated) if anyone takes the responsibility for active development again.
