Description Josselin Mouette 2008-01-10 12:29:13 UTC
[ forwarded from http://bugs.debian.org/459651 by Josh Triplett ]

metacity internally supports a "maximize vertically" action, and
supports binding a key to it. However, it does not show this action
in the window menu. I would like some way to make it show up there.
I can live with a hidden preference, though I'd prefer one exposed via
the metacity configuration UI.

[ This is related to bug#439749 ; maybe the UI for window actions could be unified ]

Duplicate of bug #520136 ?

bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all
old feature requests in Bugzilla which have not seen updates for many years.

If you still use metacity and if you are still requesting this feature in a currently supported version of GNOME (currently that would be 3.38), then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/metacity/-/issues/

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry it could not be implemented.
