Please describe the problem:
GPM can't beep when lid is closed or power is low.

Steps to reproduce:
1. launch gnome-power-manager normally
2. Close lid and open lid
3. Use power until power volume is low



Actual results:
No sound is played in the above cases.

Expected results:
Corresponding sound is played in order to warn user.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.
