GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 506442
Clarification of network problem text
Last modified: 2008-08-02 14:19:41 UTC
The first part of the message given when a network connection is unavailable should be changed as the grammar is currently incorrect. At the moment, it says: Network Connection Error Maybe no Network Connection available. Do you want to store this report until a Network Connection is available? I'd suggest something like the following instead (perhaps there's a standard message in other utilities that could be adapted?): Network connection error An error occurred with your network connection while sending the report. Please ensure that the connection is available and working correctly. Do you want to store this report until a network connection is available? Other information: The untranslated message is given at bug-buddy.c:407
I committed a fix for this to trunk, thanks for the report. 2008-08-02 Cosimo Cecchi <cosimoc@gnome.org> * src/bug-buddy.c: (network_error): Use a better wording when reporting a network error to the user. Thanks to Dominic Cleal (#506442).
