It would be nice to have Ctrl-W close the dialog as well as escape.

Additionally, some dialogs look better without the hseparator, above the
button bar -- most noticeably if you are packing frames into it.  It would
be good to have a way of turning that off -- either by making the widget
visible, or by adding an API to do so.

hseparator done, Ctrl-w decided against on the grounds that on Windows
it closes apps but not dialogs.
