I can't make Gimmie give me the option to open the Places>Computer or Places>CD/DVD Creator in Nautilus, like I can when using the other Gnome Main Menus. I miss the ablity to click the Computer button and see all my drives and storage devices in Nautilus.

this demand is partially solved in gimmie. i have post a comment on lauchpad

i think only "Filesystem" Item is missing form Devices and Media.

Gimmie is unmaintained and no work is going on anymore.

If you are interested in hacking on the codebase:
A fork named Mayanna exists at http://groups.google.com/group/mayanna

Closing all remaining Gimmie bugs as WONTFIX.
Please do not file new bugs against Gimmie.
Mayanna is the project you want to use and file your bugs against.
