Description Stephane Raimbault 2007-12-18 11:22:57 UTC
#: ../src/plugins/local-track/burn-local-image.c:218
msgid "Copying files md5sum file"

I need to translate this string but I'm not sure about its meaning, can you explain or fix it?

Thanks,
Comment 1 Luis Medinas 2007-12-18 13:12:48 UTC
That string means that it will copy all files for burning (build an iso) and after creating the image it will md5sum that image. Yes the msg isn't very clear but since we are on string freeze we shouldn't change it at least for 0.7.x.

Thanks

As Luis said, that's too late to fix that string. We'll leave this bug open as a reminder.
This message is used when we're downloading a md5 for an image that has just been downloaded. In French that would be something like
<<Téléchargement de la somme de fichier md5>>

Philippe,

Are you sure? Is it better to use the following string?

« Copie du fichier de somme de contrôle »

Comment 4 Philippe Rouquier 2008-01-26 14:10:11 UTC
Stéphane it should work as well.
Comment 5 Stephane Raimbault 2008-01-27 14:04:34 UTC
I updated the French translation on brasero_0_7 and trunk with that string.
Comment 6 Philippe Rouquier 2008-04-15 16:08:10 UTC
Thanks for your help. I changed the offending string in trunk into something that'll hopefully be more readable. I'm closing this bug.
