Description Siavash Safi 2007-12-09 09:35:31 UTC
when running nemiver in a composited desktop it's not possible to maximize the window or switch to it using Alt+Tab(the effect in compiz) or Window List and Window Selector applets.

versions:
nemiver 0.4.0
compiz 0.6.2

Confirmed
Comment 2 Jonathon Jongsma 2007-12-09 18:01:12 UTC
Just to avoid confusion, I don't think this has anything to do with a 'composited desktop'. I'm running the compositor branch of metacity, so I have compositing enabled, and things work just fine here. So the problem seems likely to be specific to compiz-the-window-manager, not compiz-the-compositor. Updating title.

Hello,

I have pushed commit #708 that might fix the problem. I have tested it with the sawfish window manager as someone reported the same kind of behaviour with that WM. I have not tested it with compiz though, as I don't have the right environment to run compiz myself.

So I will close this bug for now. Please feel free to re-open it if you still experience the bug.
