GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 502465
Free up cached results
Last modified: 2018-05-22 12:03:03 UTC
With the per-node caches, the memory use of GEGL can get quite large fast, seldomly accessed cached tiles that can be recomputed should be destroyed.
It would be useful to have API to indicate which nodes should keep their buffers in cache and which should not. This could be a boolean option, or a integer value - allowing to implement a priority queue for evicting tiles from the cache.
