Description Denis Melnikov 2007-12-04 15:34:37 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When creating 1st profile I try to turn on some items in System/Administration menu. But after I check corresponding box the checkmark disappears in 1 second.
The following items cannot be turned on:
Language Support,
Network,
Restricted Drivers Manager,
Screens and Graphics,
Services,
Shared Folders,
Software Sources,
Synaptic Package Manager,
Thin Client Manager,
Time and Date,
Users and Groups

Other menus can be edited except Applications/System Tools which has some stubborn items too.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Run sabayon.
2. Create new profile.
3. Press Edit button.
4. In Editing profile xxx window run System/Preferences/Main Menu.
5. In System/Administration menu check Language Support.

Actual results:
The checkbox disappears in 1 sec.

Expected results:
The checkbox must remain and label font must change to regular from italic.

Does this happen every time?
Yes, and on different installations.

I'm not sure if the move to Xephyr cured this, or the fix at: http://git.gnome.org/cgit/sabayon/commit/?id=3e97b9450221ba78d7001679648e047870010348, but this appears to be working, at least for me. Can you try running a version from the git repo, and see if this works for you now?
