Description Matt 2007-10-29 18:51:41 UTC
If I change the metadata (ID3 tags) of files that are already on my USB DAP device the changes do not "stick". I have tried doing this while also adding files to make sure that there are other operations being done, as well as trying to update the metadata info while when no other operations are being done.I have always clicked on the "syncronize" button as well. This is exacerbated by the problem that banshee does not "remember" changed ID3 tags and reverts them to old versions when transferred to the DAP. This despite the fact that the "write metadata to files" flag is turned on. All of these problems seem to be related.

Does this still apply to 1.0.2?

I've noticed that editing the tags of files on a DAP source don't get remembered, but that doesn't necessarily sound exactly like the issue you are describing.

Could anyone check if this still applies to banshee 1.4 ?
Comment 3 Bertrand Lorentz 2009-03-01 18:35:19 UTC
I wasn't able to reproduce this problem with banshee 1.4.2.

Feel free to re-open this bug if you still experience the problem.
