Description Nicolas Robin 2007-10-26 16:34:14 UTC
This bug has been reported on Ubuntu :
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gimp/+bug/157480

I think it affects GIMP more than Ubuntu packaging.
Don't hesitate to ask questions on Launchpad or here, I will relay the messages.

This is a misunderstanding. The user needs to uncheck "Dot for Dot" in the View menu. There's also a gimprc option to change the default for this.
