Description Alex Shulgin 2007-10-14 19:04:32 UTC
Right-clicking on a bookmark selects it, thus making the bookmarked folder to open in main window. I find this counter-intuitive as I use right-click primarily to delete bookmark (select 'remove' from context menu).

Just noticed that the same goes for non-bookmarks, e.g. right-clicking on a mount-point tries to open (mount) device. There is no point in having 'mount' context menu item then...

An appropriate solution would be not to select the item on right-click.

There's also an Ubuntu report about it here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/181052

that's due to a debian change and should be reported to the BTS
