Description Bastien Nocera 2007-10-09 14:52:10 UTC
For all the audio related bindings.

This would mean that the keybindings would just work if the correct keymap is selected, or people are using the evdev keyboard driver in X.org (so that Linux input events are correctly translated to the corresponding XF86 keysym).

Why isn't that already the case? Beats me. Go ahead.
I guess it makes sense to put it into 2.20 as well.

Default to using XF86* keysyms for the audio related keybindings,
allows those to work out-of-the-box when the right keymap is
        selected (Closes: #485076)
