Description Cole 2007-10-05 14:09:26 UTC
Create an option, on the preferences menu that allow the grid to be printed. It can be useful to create dungeon maps for roleplaying games.

I noticed some other application (don't remember which) that did have a setting for that in page setup or print properties. It could make sense, I guess. Patches are welcome.

What might be more useful, I think, would be to generalize this somewhat so that instead of just printing a grid, it was possible to fill a shape with not only a solid color, but also possibly a repeating pattern... where the pattern to be used is in another dia file or something similar, and you specify the width and height of the pattern (as well as offsets within it for filling), and it would just tile that pattern throughout the object being filled. A grid could therefore be added to an object just by tiling with a pattern of a square.
