GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 482203
file-roller crashed with SIGSEGV in fr_window_stop_batch()
Last modified: 2007-10-14 07:00:58 UTC
The bug has been opened on https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/file-roller/+bug/146914 "Binary package hint: file-roller I am trying to burn some directories with pictures to dvd, and clicked from the file-manager to create an archive. And cancelled on the question for what type of archive. Then I opened a blank DVD and dragged 4 directories to cd/DVD creator window, and then got this crash-detection, while CD/DVD creator still functions properly ... Package: file-roller 2.20.0-0ubuntu1 ...

I cannot reproduce the crash, however looking at the fr_window_stop_batch function there was a problem that is now fixed in SVN trunk, and that I think was the cause of the crash. The fix will be available in the 2.20.1 version, fill free to reopen this bug report if the crash will still occur to you with 2.20.1.
