desktop-file-utils found the following problems :

beagle/search/beagle-search.desktop.in.in :
Encoding=UTF-8 : Encoding is deprecrated

First patch only took care of the .desktop file installed in $(datadir)/applications/

This one still fixes these bugs but also fixed the following ones :
AdvancedSettings; is not a standard entry in Categories=... line
X-KDE-StartupNotify => StartupNotify : it is not KDE only
Add missing Type=Application in 2 files

Committed this as r4032 with a few changes: (a) files in the attic are historical and shouldn't be changed, (b) removed the change to the testsuite file, since there might be output that depends on it, and it's never installed, and (c) removed the X-SuSE-translate lines.  They're not related to your patch directly, but we've dropped them from SUSE (or at least add them manually downstream).
