Last modified: 2007-10-01 10:03:50 UTC
Please describe the problem: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=238058 Opened by Lubomir Kundrak (lkundrak@redhat.com) on 2007-04-26 16:57 EST [reply] Private Description of problem: Pango renders some pairs of glyphs very ugly, presumably differently from how it should. It did not happen after install. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): pango-1.14.10-1.fc6 How reproducible: With updated pango. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Look how "Te," "To," etc. combinations look. Actual results: Ugly. Expected results: Nice. Additional info: I am not sure which update caused this and am lazy to check it. You might remember, that I pinged on IRC some weeks after I noticed it :) Comment #1 From Lubomir Kundrak (lkundrak@redhat.com) on 2007-06-06 03:19 EST [reply] Private Are there any updates on what is done about this issue? behdad, could you please close the same bug in RedHat bugzilla ? https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=238058 Thank you, :)
LingNing Zhang; please don't decide what happens to bugs in our bugzilla. The bugzilla is basically to track defects in supported software and this is exactly the case for fedora. Apart from that, 1.14.10 is the version I reported against, I can confirm it against 1.16.4 and thus I believe it might be still present even in the upstream supported version.
Created attachment 96452 [details] Screenshot with pango-1.18.2 I confirm this also affects package pango-1.18.2-1.fc8 based on latest pango 1.18.2.
