Description Bastien Nocera 2001-09-10 01:18:26 UTC
What i expected in the themes dialogs was that the "Remove theme" button should
remove the currently selected theme (and I thought it removed all of them
besides the selected because I had only one user theme).
What should be done, is have the "Remove theme" button to remove the selected
theme (and be disabled when a system-wide theme is selected), and have a dialog
asking for removal confirmation.

I've never actully seen what andy did when he implimented this, but while

what you're suggesting makes complete sense (and is what I'd want to

see happen) it can't work. :-(

The way themes selection works is that the currently selected theme is

the active theme. So if you go to select a theme for deletion, you'll end up

switching to it.

If I could find a theme to add, I'd test this. :-)

I'd also like to be able to delete some of the default themes (as well as

patterns) but there's no simple way to do that.

things are now, this needs to be resolved
Comment 2 John Fleck 2002-01-26 04:15:24 UTC
Adding GNOME2 keyword.
Comment 3 Luis Villa 2002-02-28 14:24:54 UTC
This has badly confused me in the past as well; badly enough that (to
my mind) this is nearly a bug and not an enhancement. It is really
borderline, though.
