Description mikeize 2007-09-24 02:26:48 UTC
Double-click on sound icon returns: "No volume control GStreamer plugins and/or devices found"

Testing sound in System>Preferences>Sound returns error:

"audiotestsrc wave=sine freq=512 ! audioconvert ! audioresample ! gconfaudiosink profile=music: Internal GStreamer error: state change failed. Please file a bug at http://bugzilla.gnome.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=GStreamer."

I am running Ubuntu Gutsy and didn't have this problem until after the initial updates.
