Description Derek Cramer 2007-09-21 11:28:31 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When playing replaygain tagged files, playback volume varies widely when using the crossfading backend. Problem has been noted on FLAC, OGG Vorbis & MP3 files. This only affects the crossfading backend.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Enable the crossfading backend in preferences
2. Play some replaygain tagged files of varying loudness

Actual results:
Playback volume varies widely between tracks of different volume, regardless of replaygain tags.

Expected results:
Playback volume is consistent when playing back tracks with replaygain tags, as with the original, non-crossfading backend.

Does this happen every time?
Yes

Other information:
Using revision 5356 from SVN, but it is updated regularly.

The old replaygain code has been removed, so this bug is obsolete.
